Born Robert James Affuso on March 1 1963 in Newburgh, New York, US, Rob Affuso is a drummer. He is best known as the former drummer of Skid Row.
In 1985, he met Dave Sabo while auditioning for Bon Jovi.
He joined Skid Row in 1987 (classic lineup (1987-1996): Sebastian Bach (lead vocals), Dave Sabo (lead and rhythm guitars), Scotti Hill (rhythm and lead guitars), Rachel Bolan (bass), Rob Affuso (drums)).
He played on the albums Skid Row (1989), Slave to the Grind (1991), B-Side Ourselves (1992), Subhuman Race (1995) and Subhuman Beings on Tour (1995).
In 1993, he played on the songs Swamp Song and Fuck You on Duff McKagan's solo album Believe in Me.
In 1994, he played on Gilby Clarke's solo album Pawnshop Guitars.
In 1998, with singer Shawn McCabe, guitarists Dave Sabo and Scotti Hill and bassist Rachel Bolan, he played in the band Ozone Monday.
He didn't participate in Skid Row's 1999 reunion. He didn't want to reunite without Sebastian Bach.
In 2002, he played onstage with Skid Row.
On August 25 2011, he performed I Remember You live with Sebastian Bach.
